Exceptional service differentiates Mclaren from its competitors." - Rob Pagacz (Bobcat S300 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "Tires are still working out great. Tons of hours left on them!" - Levi McDermott (Mustang 2086 skid steer loader);                                                                                           "Made my bobcat work like a Cat dozer; Easy on off" - Roy Young (Bobcat S250 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "I think you make a superior product..." - Eric Wellish, (Case 1845C skid steer loader);                                                                                           "I really like the traction that I get from my tracks, and will most likely consider repurchasing when needed... I have the TDF series track." - Scott Robinson (Takeuchi TL 150 compact track loader);                                                                                           "Your Protrac rubber have saved me thousands of dollars! I rented a track machine for one month prior to having your tracks, that rental cost would have covered the cost of the McLarens. I was expecting to have bought a new machine, but there has been no reason to as the OTTs have added lift capacity, stability, a softer ride, and of course traction beyond my wildest expectations. My machine rep is not happy with your product, no sale for him... Could not be happier, literally!" - Simon Huxtable (Bobcat 763 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "The up front cost is greater than others but quality and performance far outweigh the cost." - Bearden Services (Bobcat S250 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "The sales rep that handled my purchase was knowledgeable, polite, and knew his product... Good job, keep it up. " - Mike Essenpreis (John Deere 325 skid steer loader);                                                                                           "The salesman helped me quite a bit with the sizing issue." - Dennis Weiss (Bobcat Model 100);                                                                                         "I appreciate the after sales follow up."  - Eagle Golf Inc. (Caterpillar 236B skid steer loader);                                                                                           Need to contact McLaren Customer Serive in the US? Angle Broom vs. Pick-Up Broom: Which Is Best for You?

Angle Broom vs. Pick-Up Broom: Which Is Best for You?
Regular cleaning and maintenance are key parts of any project or job site. After all, there’s still a lot of debris to worry about even after your job’s done. Broom attachments are a popular and very effective way to dislodge any dirt, dust, or larger chunks of material from the pavement and get it out of the way. However, there are several different types of these attachments to choose from, and the one you pick can greatly influence your experience. Here, we’ll talk about the angle broom and pick-up broom and how to determine which is best for you.

Angle Broom Attachments

For starters, angle broom attachments are sweeper models designed to run at either a left or right angle from the main operator’s cabin. This way, you can better push debris away from the center of walkways or roads and off to the side. These attachments are most useful on outdoor surfaces such as roads, parking lots, sidewalks, and exterior factory areas. However, it’s important to note that they aren’t the best option for interior use, as they can kick up dust and debris into the air, hindering air quality. As such, you’ll want to restrict operations near enclosed areas wherever possible.

Pick-Up Broom Attachments

Pick-up brooms, on the other hand, work in a frontward-facing position and offer additional containment for larger debris. With this attached bucket directly underneath the brush, you can push even bigger chunks of rock into it for better disposal down the line. As such, they’re very popular for construction sites that have more difficult moving materials. Pick-up brooms are also a great option for road construction sites, docks, and warehouses or factories.

Making the Choice Between the Two

When it comes to determining whether the angle broom or pick-up broom is the best option for you, it’s vital that you consider your desired application. They both have very different ideal use environments. As such, understanding what you want to use them for will be the key to making the most appropriate decision. Generally, pick-up brooms work for a broader range of job sites than angle broom attachments.

Make sure that you’re also thinking about your overall budget. Attachments can be expensive, and the two models listed here are no exception. Pick-up brooms tend to be more expensive outright but have a greater overall value because of their application diversity. And while angle brooms are a bit more affordable, you’re more limited in how you use them.
