Exceptional service differentiates Mclaren from its competitors." - Rob Pagacz (Bobcat S300 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "Tires are still working out great. Tons of hours left on them!" - Levi McDermott (Mustang 2086 skid steer loader);                                                                                           "Made my bobcat work like a Cat dozer; Easy on off" - Roy Young (Bobcat S250 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "I think you make a superior product..." - Eric Wellish, (Case 1845C skid steer loader);                                                                                           "I really like the traction that I get from my tracks, and will most likely consider repurchasing when needed... I have the TDF series track." - Scott Robinson (Takeuchi TL 150 compact track loader);                                                                                           "Your Protrac rubber have saved me thousands of dollars! I rented a track machine for one month prior to having your tracks, that rental cost would have covered the cost of the McLarens. I was expecting to have bought a new machine, but there has been no reason to as the OTTs have added lift capacity, stability, a softer ride, and of course traction beyond my wildest expectations. My machine rep is not happy with your product, no sale for him... Could not be happier, literally!" - Simon Huxtable (Bobcat 763 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "The up front cost is greater than others but quality and performance far outweigh the cost." - Bearden Services (Bobcat S250 skid steer loader);                                                                                            "The sales rep that handled my purchase was knowledgeable, polite, and knew his product... Good job, keep it up. " - Mike Essenpreis (John Deere 325 skid steer loader);                                                                                           "The salesman helped me quite a bit with the sizing issue." - Dennis Weiss (Bobcat Model 100);                                                                                         "I appreciate the after sales follow up."  - Eagle Golf Inc. Types of Compact Equipment That Use Rubber Tracks
In the world of skid steer and track loader technology, rubber tracks are some of the most important components to their success. These belts pave the way for exceptional results in your application; they do everything from maintaining the necessary level of traction to promoting optimal maneuverability and performance. The benefits don’t end there. These tracks have an even more expansive range of uses that you may not have previously considered. Here are the different types of compact equipment that use rubber tracks.

Mini Excavators

Rubber tracks are the ideal belting material for the majority mini excavators. These pieces of equipment are often tasked with digging, trenching, and foundation work. The right set of rubber skid steer tracks can even help improve operator comfort, traction, and floatation.

Skid Steers and Compact Track Loaders

Compact track loaders are highly adaptable machines that assist with a wide variety of applications across construction, including landscaping, home construction, road building, and agricultural industries. With their ability to dig, lift, load, and spread large quantities of material at one time, they’re an asset for anyone who needs to efficiently move or dig material. Compact skid steer loaders rely on sturdy rubber tracks to help them operate on and off-road and in wet areas while carrying heavy materials.

Multi-Terrain Loaders

When you’re working on softer ground, MTLs are the pieces of equipment for you. These are designed to maintain high-performance capabilities in environments with lower ground pressure, and they use rubber tracks without metal links to reduce weight. When your MTLs are equipped with quality tracks, they’ll sustain less wear, or broken drive lugs making maintenance more manageable. Additionally, it’s important that you know how to maintain the rubber tracks themselves.

Carrier Dumpers

Carrier dumpers are compact and well-balanced, and they can maneuver in tight areas compared to full-scale dump trucks. This allows them to make the most of limited space in a worksite and deposit materials wherever you need. As such, they’re one of the most common choices for construction projects and material handling over rough terrain. So, when equipped with rubber tracks, they’re even more proficient.

Aerial Platforms and Manlifts

Another type of compact equipment that uses rubber tracks are aerial platforms or manlifts. These machines are often dubbed boom lift or scissor lifts, and they require the highest amount of stability possible to maintain their safety and functionality on hard surfaces or on wet uneven ground. Rubber tracks can reduce the amount of swing as aerial platforms elevate. As such, they’re the perfect option for all aerial machinery especially when off-road.

Harvesters

Even agricultural equipment can benefit from using rubber tracks. Harvesters need optimal traction and wear resistance to reliably maneuver over wet fields to harvest crops. Rubber tracks designed with deep grooves and a high tensile strength help maximize drivability over wet ground such as rice fields.

McLaren Industries is a proud manufacturer of premium rubber tracks for these listed machines and more. As the number one manufacturer in the United States, we offer one of the most diverse selections of rubber tracks for all manners of equipment and applications.
